Tay is a Central PA native who moved from Lancaster to York in 2023. As loudly and proudly queer, they are passionate about the issues that impact their community, and seek to empower those around them. Having been raised by a gay mom, they grew up in the LGBTQIA+ community long before realizing their own queer identity. They are very excited that they get to give back to a community that gave them so much love and support over the years. 

Tay graduated with a major in Sociology and minors in Political Science and Gender & Sexuality Studies; they briefly attended graduate school, where they took classes towards an MEd in Sexuality Education. Throughout their professional journey - which includes health education, politics, trans healthcare, and community organizing - they’ve held their love of community care and helping others tightly.  As part of the Rainbow Rose Center, they are passionate about creating inclusive and welcoming environments for everyone.
