Rev. D. Marie is a native of Baltimore Maryland, Founder of Restoration Community Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and CEO & President of FACE-2-FACE Ministries; a Mental Health Outreach Center founded on November 11, 2016. She presently serves as Co-Director of the Race & Unity Action Coalition through Christian Church United of Pennsylvania, creating safe space for hard conversation regarding race. In December 2020 she was selected to be a Community Leader for the Messiah University Thriving Together program, Congregations for Racial Justice. In July 2021, she developed a “Load of Love” outreach ministry to support individuals and families with their laundry needs. Since inception this initiative has contributed to on average 1200 loads of free laundry each year for the York Community. She earned her Masters of Divinity from the School of Theology at Virginia Union University and a Masters of Arts and Religion from Lancaster Theological Seminary in May of 2016. She is presently Family Based Therapist and a Post Graduate Fellow for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapist matriculating in the Post Graduate Marriage & Family Therapist Program through the Philadelphia Family Therapy Training Center. Rev. D. Marie is the only daughter of Mary Pauling, proud mother of Aariona, Aarimoni, Aarica & Asher the Pup and She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
