Randi is a trans-woman who came out about 3 years ago without too much fanfare or negative reviews. Her family (including her wife, 2 daughters, 1 son, and 7 grand kids all under 10) have been very supportive and understanding and have supported her on her transitional journey. She knew she was different for almost all of her life and she is excited to move forward living her authentic life. Like many of our gender diverse community, she lost a few friends along the way but has also gained several. Randi is a retired middle school teacher from Northern New Jersey where she taught Industrial Arts to 6-8 graders. She was also involved in the drama club and the robotics club. After retiring, she moved to Pennsylvania to be close to her kids and grand kids. She looks forward to working as the volunteer coordinator with the Rainbow Rose Center and getting the chance to meet and get to know all of you.
