David Moyer is a York County native who spent several years living and working in California and Nevada before returning home to Central Pennsylvania. His professional experience has been focused on leadership and management within nonprofit healthcare and higher education organizations. He earned his Master of Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare Management and Master of Science in Management and Leadership degrees from Western Governors University. In his free time, David enjoys traveling, hiking, making candles, and visiting amusement parks. 

David joined the Rainbow Rose Center’s board because of the Center’s focus on improving the lives of the LGBTQIA+ community in his community of York County. David’s own experiences of coming out as gay and finding a community in Central Pennsylvania have shaped his desire to contribute to the Center’s mission of fostering an environment of inclusion equity, and health where all LGBTQIA+ community members can thrive in York County.
