Future Perfect Records is a free, online year-long residency for LGBTQ+ music makers ages 16-22 from all over the United States. Over the course of twelve months, participants will receive the resources and mentorship to write, record, and release a fully produced original track as part of a compilation album, all while connecting with like-minded LGBTQ+ youth from around the country This year-long program has run twice now, with album release shows at Lincoln Center and Joe’s Pub in New York City.
The Future Perfect Project or FPP is a 501(c)(3) and the parent organization of Future Perfect Records. FPP offers high-quality creative programming and professional artistic mentorship in writing, podcasting, and more. They believe that the artistic expression of LGBTQ+ youth is a declaration of a better future for all.
