To help you find events that match your interests, we’ve added categories to each listing. These categories highlight the type of event, who’s involved, and how you can participate. Browse the descriptions below to see what each category means and discover the events that are right for you!
Community Events:
Celebrate and connect through activities that bring our community together, often with multiple local businesses collaborating.
Organization Events:
Events directly hosted or organized by the Rainbow Rose Center.
Pride Events:
Gatherings that celebrate LGBTQ+ pride, visibility, and community spirit.
Support Groups:
Regular meetings that provide understanding, connection, and support around specific topics.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Events that need helping hands—reach out to the listed contact if you’d like to get involved.
Queer and Transgender People of Color (QTPOC) Support Group
This group is for black, indigenous, and people of color who identify as queer and/or transgender (QTPOC) and are over 18. This group provides a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for the QTPOC community.
You will have the opportunity to discuss personal experiences and challenges specific to your intersectional identities in an oppressive world and receive information on how to thrive in an adverse society. You are not required to speak or share any information you are not comfortable with. What is said in group stays in group, and each group member will sign a privacy agreement.
This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. If you identify with this group, are over 18, and are interested in joining, sign up for additional information and notifications now.
