Name Change Workshop
For Transgender Awareness Week, November 13th-19th, the Rainbow Rose Center will be holding a Name Change Workshop on Saturday, November 18th. Similar to the last workshop that conducted in July, people interested in changing their legal name in York County should attend, but they do not need to bring anything with them to participate. We will provide all necessary documentation, walk them through the process for filling out the paperwork, talk about the filing and fingerprinting process, discuss the waiver for publication, and explain the hearing process. Those planning to come should understand this is a first-come-first-serve opportunity, but we will have multiple volunteers on site and multiple computers to use. Attendees are invited on a walk-in basis, and should expect the process to take about 20-30 minutes.
