Gettysburg: Adult Survivors Support Group
Small Steps, Big Hopes:
Moving Forward After Trauma
Small Steps, Big Hopes is a safe place for survivors of abuse and/or neglect to build connections, learn new skills, and process their challenges. This group is for adults ages 20+ and open to people of all gender identities.
*Small Steps, Big Hopes is not a replacement for individual trauma therapy services, but is meant to be an additional support for adults who have experienced trauma.
What to Expect From Group:
- Psychoeducation about topics related to abuse and/or neglect.
- Reflective activities including art, guided discussions, and group exercises.
- Access to a trained advocate who can assist with referrals and resource finding.
- A confidential, supportive environment that is trauma informed.
- Take-home activities to support you in engaging on your own terms.
