Our Event Categories
To help you find events that match your interests, we’ve added categories to each listing. These categories highlight the type of event, who’s involved, and how you can participate. Browse the descriptions below to see what each category means and discover the events that are right for you!
Community Events:
Celebrate and connect through activities that bring our community together, often with multiple local businesses collaborating.
Organization Events:
Events directly hosted or organized by the Rainbow Rose Center.
Pride Events:
Gatherings that celebrate LGBTQ+ pride, visibility, and community spirit.
Support Groups:
Regular meetings that provide understanding, connection, and support around specific topics.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Events that need helping hands—reach out to the listed contact if you’d like to get involved.
Teen Event Group
Join us on March 22nd, from 1p to 3 pm for a smashing good time at The Rage Room, located at 2300 Industrial Highway, York, PA 17402.
Expect to:
Spend 30 minutes in the party room while all the guests arrive. Eat/Drink.
Then we'll go to paint room for 30 minutes. Each participant gets their own watercolor paper.
Then we'll go to the break room. The group will participate in a group break 10, which include 10 items for participants to stomp, throw, and smash!
*The Rage room has asked that all participants wear long pants and closed-toed, thick-soled shoes ( sneakers, boots, crocs are OK). Ballet flats, sandals, and flip flops are not OK. For painting, wear clothes that you won't mind getting paint on.
***All participants must have a waivered signed by a guardian to participate. Please email a digital copy to Natasha at nswiger@rainbowrosecenter.org or plan to print and bring with you.
This group is specifically for LGBTQIA+ Teens and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of East York.
