Hanover Teen Event Group
Please join us on Sunday, May 17, from 1 to 3pm for a walk around one of the hiking trails around Codorus! We will meet at the Mary Ann Furnace trailhead at 1389 Black Rock Rd. Hanover, PA 17331. The Mary Ann Furnace Trail takes you to Codorus State Park, located on the shores of Lake Marburg. This well-maintained and marked trail is shaded and offers beautiful views of the lake and an abundance of birdlife and wildlife. The trail surface is mainly dirt with some crushed stone and bridges over creek areas.
The area tends to get muddy after rainfall, so it's best to hike during a dry spell. Parking is available at the trailhead.
Please be sure to arrive by 1PM so we can start our walk on time. Make sure to bring a water bottle, comfortable shoes and if you'd like, a post-hike snack.
